Pincher Creek Engagement Photos
Alberta has so many gorgeous areas, and I absolutely loved shooting down in Pincher Creek for C+T’s engagement photos. We had the most beautiful golden hour for our session. This was the first week that the greenery was finally coming out for spring so we lucked out with a gorgeous lush landscape.
Pincher Creek has very pretty locations for engagement photos right in town as well as in the surrounding areas. About 40 minutes further south is Waterton National Park (which I highly recommend visiting if you haven’t yet!). The entire area has so many hidden gems and is well worth exploring. C+T were originally thinking Waterton for their engagement photos but Pincher Creek was closer to home. And this park ended up being the perfect location for their session.
C+T wanted to keep their engagement photos in Pincher Creek super chill and relaxed, with a lot of candids. We shared lots of laughs during their session and captured a ton of genuine smiles between these two. It was quite a windy evening for these Pincher Creek engagement photos but that really gave some nice movement and vibrance to the images. I love the way wind can become its own type of “prop” for photos, creating a unique type of movement and magic that just doesn’t exist without it. Working with the wind can make for particularly romantic images.
This spring has been full of many beautiful engagement sessions and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to capture them all! Can’t wait to capture C+T’s wedding day up near Ponoka this summer!
