September of 2019 was a pretty epic month of weddings, and I got to finish it off by sharing in Katie and Shawn’s amazing intimate wedding at the Peter Pan Bistro and Graffiti Alley. And coolest of all? It was a brunch wedding! Gah I loved this morning like crazy.
I was so stoked when these two told me they were looking to shoot their wedding portraits in Graffiti Alley. We met up on the west end of the alley and kicked off the morning with Katie & Shawn’s beautiful and emotional first look. Then we walked through the whole alley snapping a bunch of pics along our way to the Peter Pan Bistro. It’s only about a 10 minute walk so we took our time and picked out some pretty gosh darn awesome walls as backdrops. And I loved how much it contrasted the look of their Winter Lakeshore Engagement Photos.
I can’t think of a more perfect setting for an intimate Sunday brunch wedding than the Peter Pan Bistro. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the ceremony/reception rooms were beautifully lit and spacious. Katie & Shawn also wanted to grab some photos of the two of them down by the staple big blue door of the Peter Pan Bistro, so we snuck out for some more pics during cocktail hour.
After a mimosa toast to celebrate the newlyweds, everyone got to enjoy a delicious brunch buffet with all the goodies you can imagine, including gourmet donuts for desert – yum!!! Thank you Katie & Shawn for being such amazing and such cool clients – congratulations you two! <3
