Rachel & Steven
This day will always hold a very special place in my heart. I adored capturing Rachel & Steven’s wedding at Orr Lake Golf Club. To the extent where I’m pretty sure it can’t possibly even count as work because I loved it so much. The laid back, relaxed, happy, joyful feel of this day was absolutely perfect. Everything about this wedding was everything I love about capturing the big days.
And before I even say anything else, I want to say that shooting Rachel & Steven’s portraits was one of my favourite wedding day hours that I’ve ever had. They were so smiley and giggly with each other and so welcoming to me and such naturals in front of the camera too, the relaxed feel of the day really translated into all areas including their more formal photos. I loved it!!!!
These two were high school sweethearts and their happiness and excitement was contagious to every one of their guests and myself too. I found myself smiling non stop this whole day because there were so many happy vibes being shared.
The location of their wedding ceremony at Orr Lake Golf Club was also one of the prettiest spots I’ve thus far shot at. It was quite a blustery day and standing underneath all the rustling leaves of the birch trees as these two said their vows felt like there must not be a more beautiful place to be in this moment.
I’m so stoked for these two and so thankful to have been able to share in this one of a kind incredible day <3
