This year threw a lot of hurdles toward every couple planning their big day, but even after all the planning and replanning and replanning again, Lauren & Daniel shared the most wonderful wedding day with their close family and friends at The Ivy At Verity and George Restaurant on Queen St in Toronto.
I shot at The Ivy At Verity last year as well so naturally I was ecstatic when Lauren & Daniel mentioned they were planning on getting ready at the hotel on their wedding day because it’s such a pretty spot! Tons of natural light and unique rooms filled with vintage charm throughout the hotel. I grabbed getting ready shots of both sides of the wedding party, which I always love shooting so much! Shoutouts to Alex Linley-Cairns for the gorgeous hairstyles, Sky Shapiro Beauty for the gorgeous makeup, and Elizabeth Munro Design for the incredible floral arrangements.
After getting ready, Lauren & Daniel shared their very sweet first look in one of the upstairs conference rooms at the Ivy. We then spent the next bit taking their portraits as well as their wedding party and family photos all across the grounds.
Their ceremony was held outside in the courtyard, and they also enjoyed cocktail hour out there before heading inside George Restaurant (which is connected to the Ivy At Verity) for their wedding reception. I’m so grateful that these two had such a beautiful wedding day and I’m also beyond thankful for the chance to capture it all for them <3
