Margaret & Mike
Shooting Margaret & Mike’s Port Credit wedding photos on this sunny and mild mid-September afternoon was hands down one of the best times I had this entire wedding season. These two contacted me about 2 weeks prior to their wedding ceremony – they were planning to have an intimate weekday afternoon wedding at Mississauga City Hall surrounded by their immediate family and were looking for a photographer to capture the ceremony, their portraits, and then the beginning of their dinner reception at a nearby restaurant. It sounded like such a perfect way to celebrate their love, and I was ecstatic when they told me we were a go!
After their beautiful intimate ceremony, I headed over to Port Credit with Margaret and Mike for their wedding portraits. We started off at their favourite pizzeria, where these two grabbed a couple fresh-out-of-the-oven slices as we captured some candid pics. Talk about THE best way to kick off your wedding portraits!
Then we headed over to the Port Credit lakeshore and marina as the sun was just hitting golden hour. We got some cool shots over at the lovely gazebo in St Lawrence Park too. One of my favourite things about intimate weddings is having a nice amount of time set aside just for the bride and groom portraits. We had close to 2 hours to explore the area and take a whole bunch of pics along the way, which made for a truly relaxing and fun shooting environment all around.
The biggest thank you to M & M for being such a blast to hang out with and for letting me in to capture these special moments – it was an absolute joy getting to share in your amazing day! <3
