Sasha & Chris
After having to change their wedding plans around due to covid, Sasha & Chris decided to have a beautiful intimate wedding at Holy Family Parish followed by portraits at Colonel Samuel Smith Park. It was such a joy getting to share in their day and capture these special moments for them!
Sasha reached out to me just a few weeks prior to their June wedding date. We were all crossing our fingers that the gathering restrictions would be lifted a bit so that they could have their wedding, and indeed they were lifted just in time! These two were able to celebrate their special day with a small handful of their closest family and friends <3
We started the day off capturing a few getting ready pics at Sasha’s parents’ house before heading downtown to Holy Family Parish for the wedding ceremony. After that, we headed over to Colonel Samuel Smith Park along the lakeshore to shoot their portraits. We even got to ride along the highway in the 1950s Bentley that they rented for the day – so cool!
Sasha & Chris ended the afternoon back at the house with an intimate reception in the backyard. All in all a truly beautiful intimate wedding day that worked out so perfectly even despite all the planning hurdles along the way <3
